The iLugger is a carry bag designed specifically for the 17" & 20" iMacs. It is manufactured by LTA Projects, whose main business is making blimps, very big bags indeed. Here's the back of the iLugger, showing the removable shoulder strap, with the backpack straps tucked away in their zippered pocket. Here's the back of the iLugger with the backpack straps taken out and attached. My only concern with the iLugger design is whether the clips that hold the bottom of the backpack straps will hold up with use. I'll probably usually use the shoulder strap, so it shouldn't be a problem. The front pocket has room for paper, a nice checkbook-sized slot, and a place for two pens. Here's the top. The business card slot on the left is covered with transparent plastic that you can't see in the photo. Notice the duck-bill in the front for the foot. Here it is opened up. The iMac goes in the front (down in the picture) with the screen facing out. There's stiff plastic inside the case there to protect the screen. Notice the big, tough, zipper teeth and the padded pockets for a keyboard and other stuff. The zipper teeth need to be coaxed into the zipper to get them started. |
